The Kickstarter is live for Broad Knowledge and Sharp & Sugar Tooth, two anthologies by authors of marginalized genders.
My story “Blood Sausage” appears in Broad Knowledge: 35 Women Up to No Good. On its surface, it’s the story of an engineer who falls in love with an android, but underneath, there’s so much more at work.
There are so many authors whose work I enjoy in both of these books. Please consider adding them to your shelf!
I’ll be attending the Nebulas in Pittsburgh in May, and then it’s off to Seattle for the 2018 Clarion West Writers Workshop. This is my first year working as the workshop administrator, and I can’t wait to meet our fantastic group of students. (I’m going to be bragging about all of these writers, I just know it!)

- The Overcast has accepted “Collectors” as a reprint, and the podcast is scheduled for release in July.
- I’m using NC Arts Council grant funding to travel throughout Asia this summer! I’ll be visiting Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, and then Australia and New Zealand. I’m so grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to see how I grow through these travels.
HOORAY! Can’t wait to see you at the Nebulas. And send us some postcards from Asia please 😀
